This ornamental glass fiddlehead is fun and colorful and adds a touch of whimsy and delight to any garden. The pretty lime green hue will give your garden an extra pop of color, especially when added to other existing garden decor. In addition, an outer layer of clear glass gives it luster and depth which is especially noticeable in the sunlight.
The size measures approx 18" high including the 2" copper part at the base and is 3" wide at the curl. It fits like a sleeve over 1/2 inch diameter re-bar that is not included in this order. You can purchase 1/2" re-bar at any major hardware store in different lengths. Just make sure the rebar is not 5/8" in diameter.
When installing the rebar, I like to put the rebar about 1/2 foot to 1 foot into the ground for stability. However, when pounding the rebar in the ground, it is preferable to use a piece of buffer material between the metal hammer and metal rebar to prevent the end of the rebar to expand or get larger in diameter. I like to use a scrap piece of wood or 2x4. If you hammer directly on the metal rebar with a metal hammer, too much pounding, could cause the end of the rebar to get wider and the copper end of the glass finial may not fit on the rebar. So, just be careful with that detail.

Shipping is free using either fed-ex home delivery or USPS priority mail. Depending on the location of where the item is being sent, the farther the distance from WA state, Fed-ex ground will be the shipping option which can take anywhere from 4-8 business days. Most Pacific cost orders will be mailed via priority mail which takes between 1-3 days.
